First Arab-Russian Gala evening to be hosted in Dubai

This unique cultural evening brings together two of the world's richest cultures to share the same platform for the first time.

The Arab-Russian Gala initiative was instigated by London based event organiser Ensemble Productions and the Russian-Arab Business Council and originated from the rapidly growing international community and economy of Dubai, which has found such reliable business partners in Russia. The level of Russian corporate and individual investment in Dubai is impressive, and Dubai has long been a dream holiday destination for Russians.

This special evening is mainly sponsored by Arabtec, a top construction company in the UAE and Sistema, the largest diversified consumer services corporation in Russia and the CIS and supported by Intourist and Transaero.

The programme of the evening will include a gala dinner, performances by top popular and classical Russian and Arab artists, a charity auction and fashion show. Proceeds of the Gala will benefit the Rashid Paediatric Therapy Centre for children with special needs and the Welfare Association, a leading Palestinian non-governmental development organization, as well as the construction of the first Russian Orthodox Cathedral in the UAE Parish of Saint Philip.
