Under the terms of the agreement, Action Qatar will coordinate all PR and media related activities in Doha and the GCC for the Diplomatic Club.

Based in the exclusive Qutaifiya Lagoon development at the entrance to The Pearl Qatar, the club offers members the perfect atmosphere for relaxation and entertainment with such amenities as a gymnasium, sports facilities, pool & spa, a beauty salon and a library. Function halls are available for the use of members, and the club's two gourmet restaurants, Le Grill and Sayyad, have achieved legendary status among Doha's discerning palates.

"The Diplomatic Club is a premium brand that has represented the highest standards of service & hospitality since it opened in the year 2000, and we were on the lookout for a PR agency that was capable of reinforcing our brand positioning and taking it to the next level," says HE Mr Saad Al Muhannadi, CEO of the Diplomatic Club.

"Specifically, we were looking for a company that understood and appreciated the intimate relationships we share with our members and the high level of attention and involvement that requires." Mr. Muhannadi added, "Action Qatar fit the bill perfectly. We were impressed with their high-profile client list and the consistent high quality of the strategic public relations campaigns designed by the agency."

Established in 1993, Action Dubai - the region's hub office - is the largest independent public relations consultancy in the Gulf and a founding member of the Middle East Public Relations Association (MEPRA). The head office in Cyprus coordinates an integrated network of office across the Middle East. The Qatar office of Action counts among its clients such prominent names as Qatar Islamic Bank, Mannai Trading, Qatar Shell, British Airways, the Oxford Business Group, W Doha Hotel and Residences, and Alfardan Automobiles (BMW), besides participating in regional and Pan Arab campaigns on behalf of the network's international clients.

"The Diplomatic Club has become an icon of luxury in Doha over the last decade, and we look forward to building on their work by implementing new PR strategies and ideas" said Anna Denise Ioannou, Country Manager (Qatar) for Action Global Communications. "We're obviously very thrilled to be working with the Diplomatic Club, and we look forward to a long, productive business relationship with them," she shared.
