Ahmed Ali Bazdal, Hussein Ali Hammad, Abdulrahman Abdalla Ibrahim, the three UAE National abra owners were presented with the awards at a ceremony held at the Emirates Gas office.

As part of its efforts to launch a cleaner Dubai, Emirates Gas introduced CNG in the emirate by converting three abras from diesel engines to CNG-powered engines. The new fuel substantially reduces exhaust emissions to reduce pollutants such as carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide and other ozone-depleting substances.

Bazdal, Hammad and Ibrahim, participated enthusiastically by providing their abras and drivers, thus ensuring the successful implementation of the project.

On the initiative, Nader Al Fardan, Marketing Manager of Emirates Gas said, "Emirates Gas appreciates the assistance of these three abra owners, who demonstrated readiness to embrace technology and new systems and contribute to the development of Dubai. Our objective for undertaking the CNG abra pilot scheme with RTA was to build a sustainable environment in Dubai. These abra owners were vital components in the success of this pilot project."
