It offers customers a wide range of internationally acclaimed brands and facilities under one roof.
The diversity of the brands featured in the avenues and its current extension, as well we its convenient location and easy accessibility have made it a favourite place for shopping and relaxation.
'Millions of shoppers have visited the Avenues so far and we look forward to having more visitors during summer. With schools closing and people coming home for holidays, this is going to be a busy season. We aim to be not just a shopping hub, but 'the place to be' for all occasions, activities and events,'
said Steve Bunce, Mall Director of The Avenues.
'We owe most of our success to retailers who have shown their faith in us. The Avenues represents nowadays the perfect place for exhibitors who wish to promote their products or services as they can receive wide exposure and generate maximum interest,' he added.
The Avenues Mall has already achieved some significant milestones.
Featuring over 600 shops in total including 39 restaurants and cafes within a lively 'food court', the Avenues also has a variety of entertainment features like the 10 screen Cinescape and dome areas to host numerous exhibitions.
It has also hosted a wide range of cultural events that promote understanding and cooperation between different cultural communities.
Some of these include the 'Francofolly' which was Kuwait's first large scale French cultural and commercial festival and the 'Made in Italy' week to promote Italian products in the Kuwaiti market.
Commenting on the mall activities, Bunce said: 'We believe in supporting the community in every possible way, be it hosting cultural events or awareness campaign on social causes.'
The Avenues Mall hosts and supports a number of charitable, welfare and social causes in Kuwait from time to time.
Recently it hosted 'The Sweethearts Blood Donation Campaign', the 'Join the Movement' health drive to create awareness on obesity and 'The Blooming for Life' flower festival towards raising funds for the UN Millennium Development Goals.
It has also supported Mentor Arabia programmes in Kuwait on several occasions.
The Mall has the distinction of hosting a number of international delegates and personalities including Gloria Macapagal Arroya, the President of Philippines and James Alix Michel, the President of Seychelles.
'Visits by international delegates reinforce the iconic status and worldwide popularity this landmark has attained in such a short period of time,' said Bunce.
