H.E. Paolo Dionisi, the Italian Ambassador to the UAE, presented the honored award to Hannouche, and present were Mrs. Dionisi, the First Commercial Secretary, Dott. Andrea Vitolo, and Hannouche's family.
On receiving the award, Hannouche was 'deeply humbled' and urged the business communities of both countries to continue their participation and development of the relations that have created and nurtured the successful economic growth of the two nations.
"The local business community has embraced the responsibility of helping the nation's progress, and over a short period of time has established the region as a key growth area globally,"
said Hannouche.
"I was privileged to have a modest contribution towards the development of economic & cultural relations between Italy & the UAE," added Hannouche.
As one of the leading business icons of the region, Hannouche has always been actively promoting and highlighting the potential of the UAE within the international business community.
The 'Knight of the Order of the Star of Italian Solidarity', was created in 1947, to recognize individuals who have helped promote Italian culture & business through their work.
