50 British travel agents on Dubai familiarisation tour

The Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) hosted 50 British travel agents - 'Dubai Experts' - on a familiarisation trip in Dubai in collaboration with the Emirates Airline and Grand Hyatt Hotels last week.

This initiative follows the successful launch of the DTCM's first-ever on-line training programme, Dubai Expert, created specifically for travel executives in the UK and Ireland to enable them answer any queries raised by potential visitors of Dubai.

The visit aimed at familiarization of the experts with the Dubai, its developments and attractions so that they could promote Dubai in UK market effectively.

Under the program, initiated by DTCM, the Experts are taken to different Dubai attractions, desert safari, beaches, hotel and resorts as well as the new developments going on in Dubai for imparting first hand information to them. This would help them respond and satisfy the intending visitors of Dubai in UK market.
