Boasting a V6 engine and a host of comforts and refinements, the new offering promises to be every owners 'stress-free space'.

The new sedan will be available at all Renault dealers from September 1st, 2008 and though the model's name is a secret for now, some details of its specification have been released; a list of luxuries aimed at promoting 'stress-free space' and relaxation for driver and passengers.

Under the hood of this new Renault sedan is the acclaimed Nissan VQ engine - a 2.3 litre V6 that delivers a smooth 170HP at 6,000 rpm. The configuration is a development of the alliance between Renault and Nissan and offers a compact, yet powerful, cylinder arrangement.

Renault will unveil the model before Ramadan this year and Mohamed Bennani, Managing Director of the company's GCC operations added:

"Driving can be stressful at the best of times without having to mention the unique travel problems and extreme summer heat particular to this region," he said.

"This soon to be launched new sedan has been designed specifically to offer a relaxing and stress-free driving experience adapted to suit the needs of our customers,"

he added.

Accessing the cabin of the soon to be launched sedan is made simple through Renault's use of the latest in Smart Card technology. Employing a system which does away with the irritation of fumbling for keys, the driver simply approaches the car to unlock the doors.

Once inside the refinement continues, with the emphasis placed firmly on easy motoring. Road and engine noise are minimised through extremely effective acoustic dampening that insulates the traveller from wearying decibel discomfort.

Air conditioning has been made a priority, with ventilation ducts positioned to promote optimum temperature maintenance both at the font and rear cabins. The automatic climate control also has independent settings for driver and passenger sides.

In-car ambience is further enhanced by the steering wheel fingertip-controlled audio entertainment system. Indeed, the theme of ease-of-use and of ergonomic simplicity can be found throughout. The Driver Memory Seat automatically adjusts the driver's seating position and the front windshield wiper with rain sensor activates to keep the screen clear during the rare regional downpour.

Safety equipment includes ABS braking with electronic brake distribution (EBD), Emergency Brake Assist (EBA), adaptive front airbags, along with side and curtain airbags. Safety belt pretensioners with load limiters also feature, as do active protection headrests.

More information about the car along with detailed specification will follow closer to its launch.
