Qatar Airways Chief Executive Officer Akbar Al Baker will lead a delegation of management from head office in Doha to the week-long event, which runs from July 14 - 20. The airline has a luxurious chalet featuring a reception area, lounge, dining and private meeting rooms showcasing its award-winning Five Star hospitality.
During the show, the world's media is set to descend on a press conference hosted by Al Baker, at which he will make a significant announcement.
'Farnborough Air Show is one of the key events on the aerospace industry calendar, where we are able to meet our industry colleagues from the aircraft manufacturing sector and discuss our future aircraft needs,' said Al Baker.

Static displays of military and civilian aircraft will be a key feature at Farnborough. Airlines and global manufacturers of commercial aircraft, military jets, helicopters and engines will be on hand to display their latest products.
Qatar Airways operates a young and modern fleet of 62 Boeing and Airbus aircraft to 83 cities across Europe, Middle East, Africa, Indian subcontinent, Far East and North America. Qatar Airways currently has outstanding orders for more than 200 aircraft worth over $30bn.
The State of Qatar is focused on developing Qatar as a key aviation hub in the Middle East over the next few years. The opening of the New Doha International Airport in 2011 is one step towards achieving the goal.
Qatar Airways currently operates 42 flights a week between Doha and the United Kingdom comprising 28 weekly services to London Heathrow and daily flights to both London Gatwick and Manchester.
