STC wins King Abdulaziz Quality Award

His Excellency Abdullah bin Ahmed Zainal Alireza, the Minister of Commerce and Industry, Chairman of the Saudi Arabian Standards Organization and head of the Higher Committee of the King Abdulaziz Quality Award, has announced that Saudi Telecommunications Company is the first time winner of the newly instituted award.
KAQA is an exclusively national award that is decided solely by SASO, the Kingdom's official organization for measurement and assessment of quality standards in commerce and industry.
STC adds KAQA to its range of prestigious awards presented for excellence in the field of quality systems and programs, such as the company's recent program of converting all its administrative systems to electronic processes, utilizing state-of-the-art technology in order to best serve its customers.
In addition, as the Kingdom's leading telecommunications service provider, STC is committed to its role of good corporate citizenship and the company's programs include corporate social responsibility initiatives such as the Wafa'a program, which is dedicated to four social aspects: Al Wafaa Educational Program, Al Wafaa Healthcare, Al Wafaa Sports Programs, and other sonsorships.
