The company already distributes Google's Security and Compliance offerings.
'As a VAD, we have established strong relationships with enterprises across the region, in all major sectors through our partners,' said K.S. Parag, Director of FVC.
'This new relationship will further enhance our offerings to our customers by providing Google search technology. Google's Enterprise search products offer the same high quality search experience as people get with Google.com.'
Google's search technology, including Google Search Appliance and Google Mini, is deployed by over 10,000 businesses around the world and is universally applicable to any organisation, regardless of size, geography or industry where information is seen as a key asset.
Google provides message security and compliance services, powered by Postini, to over 14 million users and is delivered 100% as a hosted service.
Peter Lorant, head of Enterprise Partners, Google EMEA, said:
'The quality of a customer's search experience is absolutely critical to us, thus we are very selective about the partners that we bring on board. Having an established relationship with FVC on our security and compliance offerings, we know that they have a broad reach in one of the most dynamic and fastest growing regions in the world.'
In addition to a recurring revenue stream, as part of the Google Enterprise Partner program, FVC and its partners benefit from access to regular Technical & Sales training, a Google Search Appliance for internal development, testing and demonstration and the opportunity to create new and complementary services.
FVC will additionally gain access to a wider partner ecosystem including sales tools and discussion threads with other partners around the globe.
The Google Enterprise Partner program includes developers, consultants and independent software vendors that provide value-added services for Google enterprise products.
FVC introduced Google's Enterprise products to delegates from almost 300 organisations through a special road show in June 2008 that covered key GCC markets including Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, UAE, Qatar and Bahrain.
