  • PRESS RELEASE

NEC Computers hosted its annual techno-commercial Seminar for its channel partners from across the Middle East and North Africa region in Cyprus on 8th and 9th July 2008.

Co-sponsored by Intel, the seminar aimed to provide updated training on the latest NEC solutions and introduce new products and solutions developed by NEC and Intel.

One of the key areas of focus is NEC Computers' business continuity and virtualisation solutions at the enterprise level and the recently introduced FlexPower solutions aimed specifically at the SMB segment.

"Partner training is a core ingredient to our success," said Annick Reyngoudt, Senior Marketing Manager, EMEA. "The objective of the two-day seminar is to prepare our partners to best respond to client requests and to recognize opportunities for some of the new solutions we offer like Flex Power and Virtual PC Center. It is important that we share our knowledge with our partners as well as discuss and identify new and existing sales opportunities in the Middle East."

A total of 17 pre-sales consultants from NEC Computers' partners in Middle East and North Africa (including Levant, Libya and Egypt) attended the two day seminar.

Partners were also provided updated information on new products and solutions from NEC Computers and Intel as well as the necessary tools to recognise new business opportunities around the region.
