IGTC-Chubb Fire Qatar was the first Fire Fighting, Fire Prevention & Security company in the State of Qatar to have earned top level international certification and in the 2008 assessment it has been found that IGTC-Chubb Fire Qatar complies with the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2000 for Quality Management System, and of BS EN ISO 14001:2004 for Environmental Management Systems. The certification comes at a time when IGTC-Chubb Fire has also received a commendation for its efforts to aid and care for the environment from its business activities.

"As the first Fire Fighting, Fire Prevention & Security company in the region to have gained this ISO certification in 2004, we are very proud to have not only been re-awarded the certificates so quickly, but also very pleased at the fact that we have also just received a commendation from the business community as a company that cares about the environment,"

said Rami Al-Batrawi, General Manager of IGTC-Chubb Fire Qatar.

"We have worked very hard to bring our company policies, strategies and objectives within an environmentally sound framework and we are very happy that our efforts have been recognised with certification from a top international standard authority, as well as the business community. Our commitment to excellence in this field is a top priority and as important to us as maintaining the highest standards in providing state-of-the-art, up-to-date and new technologies for safety, emergencies, security and high-risk situations," he added.

IGTC-Chubb Fire remains one of the first few companies to receive the top level ISO certifications in the Gulf. The company has consistently upgraded, acquired and expanded its range of market offerings in internationally acclaimed fire, safety and security equipment to meet the demands of the nation's growing construction and residential sector. With the latest fire and safety protection systems already provided to some of the largest business concerns in Qatar such as Qatar Petroleum, Qatar Gas, Ras Gas and the Civil Defense Authority, IGTC-Chubb Fire Qatar looks forward to bringing new and innovative technologies in this field to the nation.

"Recently we acquired exclusive licensing for the latest products in emergency, safety and security from A. Rifkin Company, High Rise Escape Systems and Western Shelter from the USA, for the entire GCC region. We also conduct regular trainings and workshops for safety and security salesmen and personnel across the country in our bid to be up to the mark, at all times," continued Mr Al-Batrawi.
