Fixed Telecommunications & Electronics to provide Al Andalucia with the Triple Play Services

The agreement stipulates that the latter provides Al Andalucia with the Smart City Services, namely internet services, terrestrial lines, operation of satellite channels, technology of audio and video multimedia, and electronic control and protection systems.

The Vice President of Engineering Affairs, Mr. Aref Al Taher and the Chairman of FTE, Mr. Faris Awartani, signed the agreement at a ceremonial event held at TJH headquarters.

In accordance with the agreement, Fixed Telecommunications & Electronics will establish a specialized center in the city, providing communication networks and infrastructure required for operation, in addition to making these services available to the citizens.

Commenting on the agreement, Mr. Aref Al Taher said:

'We are committed to providing top quality services and facilities in Al Andalucia project. This emanates from our dedication to make Al Andalucia the role model gated community in Jordan. To us, this agreement, reflects our keen interest in forging alliances with national and international companies to run the project.'

He further stated that this agreement proves that Al Andalucia project is one of the pioneering housing projects, in terms of utilizing the most advanced technology, thus meeting the highest international standards. This, in itself ranks Al Andalucia ahead of its peers in the fenced residential sector nationally and internationally. The residential city represents a superior model that puts it on par with the finest residential complexes in America, Europe and some Arab Gulf states.

Mr. Al Taher further explained that TJH is very sincere in the cause of applying the pioneering principle on the ground by creating new concepts for luxurious living.

The Chairman of FTE, Mr. Faris Awertani said, 'We will execute the terms of the agreement in accordance with international standards. Our Company (FTE) is to establish a specialized center equipped with high capacity and quality equipment and electronic apparatus, to provide all the villas with our services. It will also run a maintenance and operations department in the center.'

He also added, 'The Triple Play Services offers subscribers with audio, video and data via one line to every villa and office in Al Andalucia. The standard phone lines will be replaced by internet protocol called (VOIP); however, TV channels, satellite or terrestrial, will accompany this service via (IPTV).'

It is important to note that the blueprints of the recreational center are being under way. The center covers 60,000 sqm located in the heart of the residential city. TJH will launch the sales schemes of the third phase of Al Andalucia villas next month, in parallel with family summer activities.

Al Andalucia is the first residential city that features the 'gated community' in Jordan. Only 15 minutes away from the 7th circle in Amman towards Queen Alia International Airport, the city is built on a total area of 800.000 sqm. The project consists of 570 villas of 10 different designs.
