Adihex searches for best in research on hunting and equestrian among Arabs

Emirates Falconers' Club launched, in association with Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage, a contest for the best research in hunting and equestrian among Arabs, in the framework of international exhibition activities of Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition 'Abu Dhabi 2008', which will be held from 8-11 October at Abu Dhabi's National Exhibition Centre.
"The research competition also aims to encourage Arab scientific research, stimulate the activities of researchers and their creations in the areas of documentation and historiography of the region's ancient heritage, particularly in the area of hunting, which is one of the most important pillars of the state heritage and the Arab Gulf region," Qubaisi added.
The competition has drawn a wide attention from researchers from all Arab countries as the High Organising Committee began to receive many participation requests in preparing research on hunting and equestrian among Arabs.
The conditions for submitting the research are as follows:
-The research must be handed in Arabic;
-It must cover an aspect of hunting and equestrian among Arabs regardless of the researcher's nationality;
-It must be recent and must not have been published by any media outlet;
-Researchers must not have won any Arab or global award;
-Researchers must attach with their research a brief summary of their curriculum vitae.
The deadline for participation is September 15, 2008.
