Twenty three nurses at Al Ain Government Hospital in the UAE have lost their jobs after they failed to pass licensure examinations, reported Khaleej Times. Some of the nurses, whose services were terminated on June 30, possess more than 25 years' experience and are licensed by the Ministry of Health. The Health Authority-Abu Dhabi had earlier ordered the nurses who possessed only secondary school certificates or nursing diplomas to sit for the licensure examinations.
