Batelco recently announced that rates for calls using 123Call Cards were slashed by up to 95% to over 200 international destinations. This is a permanent offer to 212 destinations, including key destinations such as India, Pakistan, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Egypt, Syria, Canada, USA, UK and more.

Calls made with 123Call Cards are charged per second with no hidden charges. Additionally, the call rates are exactly the same whether the customer calls from a land line or mobile, and furthermore there is no difference in rates for calls made to land lines or mobiles.

Batelco also offers very low rates for prepaid IDD (International Direct Dial) calls to India. Many residents and expatriates have family and friends in India and now with a rate of only 60 fils per minute, staying in touch has become much easier.

Among the latest promotions and service launches are special offers for Prepaid Starter Packs, Freetime 20 packages, 3G services and SimSim Refill from Freetime or Valuetime packages.

Until the end of July, customers buying a prepaid starter pack will benefit from a BD1 bonus each month for 6 months. Customers must buy and keep their SimSim line active by refilling their account at least once a month, in order to avail of the monthly BD1 credit.

Customers who apply for a Freetime 20 Postpaid pack during July will receive free registration and one month's free rental, totalling a value of BD7. This promotion is ideal for customers who wish to make the move from owning a prepaid line to a postpaid line while keeping their phone numbers.

A special offer for 3G video calls gives customers the chance to win two tickets to The Lost Paradise of Dilmun Water Park. This offer will last for two months, and there will be a total of 50 winners, each receiving two tickets to Lost Paradise. The more video call minutes a customer makes the more chances of winning!
Batelco has announced the addition of a new and very convenient method of refilling SimSim accounts. From 15 July onwards customers who have a Freetime or Valuetime package will be able to 'top up' the credit of any SimSim customer, directly from their postpaid mobile phone.

The new service is expected to be extremely popular with parents who want to refill their children's accounts and don't have the time to visit a Batelco Shop or authorised outlet.

Batelco customers still have the chance to win high value, sought after prizes, which includes Sony PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles and Online Games in a Scratch & Win promotion which continues until 23rd July. To participate, customers must subscribe to one of Batelco's Broadband packages, which include 256K, 512K, 1MB and 2MB packages. Additionally, existing customers may upgrade their current package to benefit from this offer.
