InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has announced the signing of the Crowne Plaza Riyadh, in partnership with Mohammed A. Al-Swailem for Commercial Investment Co. Ltd.

This will be IHG's second Crowne Plaza in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and is scheduled to open in late 2010.

Primarily servicing business travellers, the hotel will feature over 300 well-appointed rooms and suites will be located in the northern part of Riyadh.

Crowne Plaza Riyadh will sit directly between the airport and the city centre, allowing guests to enjoy quick access to Riyadh's central business district while minimising travel time for busy corporate travellers.

Crowne Plaza Riyadh will offer seven separate meeting rooms, spanning a total area of 800sqm, making it the ideal choice to host important business meetings.

For larger scale events the hotel will also boast a 450sqm Banqueting Hall; with the capacity for over 700 guests.

Guests will also be able to unwind and enjoy three primary dining outlets including; an all day dining restaurant, a specialty grill and an asian noodle restaurant.

For those looking to relax further the hotel will also feature an exclusive Health Club, while guests will also have access to the hotels fully-equipped gym.
