- PRESS RELEASE
During the 2008 Annual WWA Middle Eastern Symposium held recently at the Dubai World Trade Centre, UAE., Paul Blunt, General Manager of Lost Paradise of Dilmun Water Park, gave a speech on water park facility initiation and operation.
"The challenge in making the water park appear effortlessly from the sand has, of course, not been effortless but rather has demanded a monumental effort from everyone involved," commented Paul Blunt when asked about the obstacles faced at the beginning stages of the Lost Paradise of Dilmun, "The vision, concept, design, theming and overall majesty of the project will ensure that the Park is a landmark development for Bahrain - the smallest of the GCC countries and yet the one with the largest water park!"
With over 20 years of specialised experience in the theme park industry, Paul Blunt has worked very closely with expert consultants to develop parks in up-and-coming markets. Not only was he involved in the design, construction, operation and management of over a dozen facilities all across Europe, Asia and the Middle East, but he is also the Director of Sim Leisure Consultants-Middle East Operations and the General Manager of Lost Paradise of Dilmun Water Park in Bahrain.
