Ministry of State for FNC Affairs delegation visits Jordan

A delegation of the UAE Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs (MSFNCA) visited the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs in the Kingdom of Jordan as part of MSFNCA's efforts to enhance its knowledge and expertise regarding political awareness and participation.
The delegation met through the visit, HE Abdul Raheem Al Okour, State Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, HE Kamal Nasser, Minister of Political Development and Minister of State for Legal Affairs, HE Faiz Shawabkeh, Secretary General of the House of Parliament.
Mr. Lootah said that the visit was aimed at exploring Jordan's approach in managing the relations between the Cabinet and the Parliament, and identifying the mechanisms and tools used by the Ministry of Political Development in enhancing political awareness in the Kingdom.

Ministry of State for the Federal National Council Affairs:The Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs (MSFNCA) was founded under Federal Decree No. (10) for the year 2006. A milestone for the UAE, MSFNCA reflects the vision of the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan in shaping a new political culture for the country and further strengthening the political framework. The ministry will be responsible for promoting participatory political practices among citizens of the UAE. Propose actions regarding enhancing the role FNC and co-ordinate its work with the federal government. MSFNCA participates in establishing legislations related to the role of the FNC and also supervises media activities in relation to the FNC.
