This is also a core value of AIESEC.
Present in over 100 countries, AIESEC, the largest student organization in the world is the international platform for young people to discover and develop their potential so as to have a positive impact in society.
Towards this aim, AIESEC runs over 350 conferences, provides 4,000 work abroad opportunities, and offers over 5,000 leadership positions to their members each year.
Partner organisations of AIESEC look at the organization as a way to support the development of youth and have access to high-potential young talent world wide.
Bahrain National Holding Company and its wholly owned subsidiaries Bahrain National Insurance (bni) and Bahrain National Life Assurance (BNL) have shown immense regard for the social environment of Bahrain by sponsoring two members of AIESEC Bahrain to go on a life-changing internship in Brazil and Colombia.
For 50 years, AIESEC has been managing an international internship program through which young people can develop their leadership skills by having an opportunity to work and to live abroad.
The internship is a valuable opportunity for AIESEC members to develop their potential, take up challenges, become responsible and also be able to plan their future career ambitions.
The members will be able to take this experience and transfer them into valuable and tangible actions which will benefit the wider community in Bahrain.
Bahrain National Holding, the premier composite insurance group in Bahrain; saw their involvement in such a program as one approach to support the development of youth leadership. Mahmood Al Soufi, CEO of Bahrain National Holding, commented: 'We believe that by sending young people on international internships, it enables and encourages a mindset of global leaders and people who have the same mission as they do. It is with this global perspective in mind that we at BNH can understand the importance of cultural diversity and experiences early in life.'
