UAE steel prices soar

Prices of construction materials continue to soar, particularly steel, with steel mesh up by 19% and deformed steel by 17%. Abu Dhabi's Department of Planning and Economy has issued a building materials price index, tracking the prices of 22 construction materials, which are mostly basic construction requirements. The index revealed that prices for cement were stable however.
