RTA receives delegation from Ministry of Interior

Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) received a visiting delegation from Registration & Licensing Dep't at the Ministry of Interior to review the latest customer services offered by the RTA.

Laila Ali bin Hareb, Director of Customer Service Centers Dep't at RTA Corporate Support Services Sector, said that the objective of the visit is to establish inter-links between various entities in the UAE, and identify the best policies adopted in Customer Service Centers in general and RTA Main Customer Service Center in particular. There was a special attention to the policies adopted by the Licensing Section at the Center, and the smooth & e-services rendered in a way to save time & efforts of clients.

She added:

"Such visits will boost efforts of government departments to promote the exchange expertise and make use of the best practices in all fields of services, including customer service. The visiting delegation reviewed the range of services on offer at the RTA Main Customer Service Center, and the excellent services delivered in a format to save time & effort for both RTA employees and clients."


"The visit was interceded by a site tour of the Main Customer Service Center; where Laila Ali bin Hareb guided the visitors and explained to them the diverse services provided under one ceiling to the clients of the Main Customer Service Center. Currently there are 149 services on offer and these include IT services, Parking & Fees Services, Licensing Services and several other department services. The list also includes support services such as the automated bill payment machine, ATM and the Business Center providing all facilities needed by our valued customers such as printing and fax services," added Laila.

The visiting delegation from the Ministry of Interior was headed by Lt. Colonel Mohammed Ma'ayoof Al Kutbi, Director of Licensing, Machinery and Drivers Dep't, Major Saif Al Zaabi, Director of Vehicle Licensing Branch, Lieutenant Tariq Al Zahran, Drivers Licensing Officer and a number of other officials. The delegation was received by Laila Ali bin Hareb, Director of Customer Service Centers Dep't, Rehab Bu Humaid, Chief Officer of Customer Service, Siddiqa Al Dhahiri, Administrative Supervisor, Mohammed Suroor, Customer Service Officer, and a number of officials.
