The Labour Fund Career Progression Programme (LF-CPP) managed by BDO Jawad Habib is reaching out and has welcomed on board additional companies from the private sector.

The programme is created to benefit the Bahraini workforce who earn a monthly basic salary between BD200-400 and aims at improving their productivity and allowing them to be the employees of choice.

BDO Jawad Habib on behalf of the Labour Fund has recently signed an agreement with Ashrafs to train their Bahraini employees in the Labour Fund-Career Progression Programme (LF-CPP).

Mrs. Amal Al Moayyed, Managing Director of Ashrafs, commented:

"We are looking forward to joining the Labour Fund-Career Progression Programme for several reasons: to cope with the ever-growing retail boom, enhance our employees' skills and increase employees' salaries upon completion of their training programmes successfully. We at Ashrafs value the enhancement of our workforce in general and the Bahrainis in particular."

The CPP's project manager Dr Ehsan Ghurbal stated that "the Retail Sector is the largest sector in our target group and we hope to make an impact on this sector by improving the required skills for their Bahraini workforce."

After speaking with a number of retail companies and assessing the training needs of their employees we have tailored courses to fill some of the skills gaps found in this sector and provide certified training courses in retail from the United Kingdom.
