The deal appoints CareerJunction Middle East as one of the preferred providers of online recruitment solutions for the entire Al Futtaim Group.

Ihab Hashwa, Regional Operations Manager of CareerJunction Middle East, said: "We are extremely pleased to welcome Al Futtaim on board our technology. We regard the Group as a key client and are confident that the combination of the reach of our job advertising network and the technology that we provide will create the ideal platform for Al Futtaim to attract both local and international quality talent."

Bryan Fuge, Al Futtaim Group's Head of Recruitment, said:

"The people we want to hire are already engaged in good jobs. They are strapped for time and do not have the leisure to browse every job advertisement. In fact, they may not even know they are in the labour market until they hear or see our advertising in a place that they choose to access for quick reference. We have to be online to be in the same space as these key people, and Career Junction Middle East has made it easy for us to send our message across through their integrated multi-media recruitment solutions."

CareerJunction Middle East recently introduced an integrated mass media recruitment advertising campaign that sees their clients' job ads being advertised in print and radio with a call for career seekers to apply for job ads online.

Ihab Hashwa added: "By advertising key job ads via the print and broadcast media, we are extending the reach of our clients' job ads beyond the Internet while, at the same time, directing applicants back to the CareerJunction Middle East website to pursue these opportunities. Our concept is to reiterate that all roads lead to the Internet: see and hear jobs in print and on radio but search and apply online."

Based in Dubai, CareerJunction Middle East recently achieved more than 20,000 registered users (also known as CareerSeekers) in less than six months, since its launch in January this year.
