"We were very pleased when we received Suhail Al Zarooni's request to showcase his collection," said Antoun Abou Jaoude, Marketing Manager of Starbucks Middle East and Egypt.

He added:

"We provided four stands displaying many unique Starbucks merchandise to encourage this successful local initiative as part of Starbucks commitment to contribute to the community."

Commenting on his Starbucks Drinking mug collection, Suhail Al Zarooni, the renowned UAE collector said, "Whenever I travel abroad, I make it a point to visit Starbucks cafe and add a new item to my collection while I sip over a brew of my choice, mainly my favourite Starbucks hot beverage - a Latte with Caramel and Cream. In fact, one of the reasons I am drawn to the brand is because it allows me to extend my collection. Apart from a range of over 200 cheerful drinking mugs, the collection includes teddy bears which my children enjoy very much. Of course, I have to buy an extra one exclusively for my collection."

"One of the rare pieces I own is a white Starbucks drinking mug bearing the original Starbucks logo used between 1987 and 1992," he added.

Visitors of the mall were very interested in the collection, which will remain on display until Tuesday 22 July.
