Shailendra Sainani, Deputy General Manager for TDME said:
"We are very pleased with the success of TDME. This was a crucial decision for Aptec and provided continuity for the channel after TechData's departure. TDME has surpassed all the (industry) expectations, and continues to move forward. One year down the line, we have successfully delivered our key objective which was 'availability', be it skilled resources, products, technical know-how, market insight and channel development."
While it shares its finance and logistics with Aptec Group, TDME has invested in a highly experienced and dedicated team of product management experts, including pre-sales & sales for each of its technology sectors.
This team is supported by a dedicated marketing department that designs and provides effective marketing tools for TDME's channel partners.
TDME has also set up an enterprise division that works with vendors like Cisco for switching, routing, voice and security, Oracle for platforms, APC for power-critical solutions and Linksys for the home and small office solutions specifically targeting the SMB sector.
This division identifies and trains potential tier-2 channel partners to specifically address the needs of this growing sector through road shows and events in countries like Yemen, Kuwait, Qatar, UAE and Iraq.
