These stickers will be used in lieu of cash for transactions with the Naturalization and Residency Department of the UAE Ministry of Interior.

Commenting on the agreement, Faisal Galadari, General Manager, Business Group of CBD, said:

"It is our privilege to be one of the first banks to be considered by the UAE Ministry of Finance for this initiative that will save the time of customers and speed up the Department's processes. We have partnered with the Ministry on various projects and seek to remain at the forefront of product innovations for our customers as well as those for residents of the UAE."

Commercial Bank of Dubai also announced that customers can recharge their e-Dirham card through its Attijari online service, which takes the bank's services to a new level.

Noting CBD's enthusiasm for making the new electronic financial sticker initiative a success, Faisal Ali Al-Mansouri, Revenue Department Manager, UAE Ministry of Finance, said:

"We are confident that CBD will provide better support to this fledgling initiative that has customer-centric objectives to facilitate transactions with the Ministry of Interior.
