Roberto Cavalli to open the first Cavalli Club in Dubai

Roberto Cavalli continues to surprise his public as he launches a new 'entertainment and night-life' concept called Cavalli Club. The first Cavalli Club is scheduled to open in November 2008 in Dubai, within Fairmont Hotel, located in the heart on the city on Sheikh Zaved Road. The club will feature two floors and a total surface area of 2500 square meters, with its own private entrance independent from the hotel.

Roberto Cavalli chose the Pragma Group as his partner for this important undertaking. Founded in 2003, the Pragma Group is the leading investment, outsourcing and business incubator holding, based in the UAE. Theirs is an expansive portfolio of international companies, which have helped Pragma Group to open into a wide array of key markets, such as technology and telecommunications, marketing, hospitality, entertainment and venture capital.

The architecture, furnishings, and the interiors selected effuse luxury and exclusivity; each area in the space creates an atmosphere rich with exciting shapes, structures, and precious materials.

On the ground floor, the entrance hall leads to a large room showcasing jewellery, watches and the most exclusive accessories from the Cavalli Maison. This, together with a selection of refined food products chosen specially by Roberto Cavalli to express the best of 'Made in Italy', offers to the public a complete Roberto Cavalli lifestyle experience and a new way of shopping at a non-conventional time of day.

On the top floor, guests have several options and can choose from different gastronomical and sensorial experiences. A refined and elegant Italian restaurant is at center of the hall, offering unforgettable Italian culinary feats. On either side of the Italian restaurant, are two large atolls in gold-colored glass and fur, suspended from the floor, which host a sushi bar and a wine bar.

For those opting for Japanese cuisine, the sushi bar offers a relaxed atmosphere for dining where guests can recline on sofas in front of low tables. The bar offers high quality selection of beverages including the prestigious Cavalli Selection red wine with the uniquely-designed bottles. Guest can also sample Cavalli-signed chocolates, have a coffee or sip cognac within the lounge area.

Parallel to the restaurant is a lounge bar that offers a chic and trendy environment for those wanting to try some exotic light food such as sushi and caviar. In this area, music plays until the early hours of the morning and guests can dance to hypnotic rhythms mixed by the best international DJs. A suspended platform will host the DJ and the dancers, as well as other entertainment and shows.

Cavalli Club Dubai is designed with luxurious and exceptional materials. The floors are done in shiny black quartz with crystal dust that reflects lights and shapes throughout the space. Luminous six-meter high walls created in Swarovski crystals illuminate and create sinuous and sparkling curtains.
