The other two flights will operate on Sunday and Monday, departing Bahrain at 11pm and arriving at Jeddah in the early hours of Monday and Tuesdays at 01:50am. This service will operate three times a week for the entire summer season, and will become 4 weekly flights starting September 2008.
Bahrain Air Manager Director Mr. Ibrahim Al Hamer, expressed his gratitude and gratefulness to the Saudi Civil Aviation Authority for all the support and cooperation that was provided to Bahrain Air. Mr. Ibrahim Al Hamar, said 'Our service to The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is our first step into the lucrative market of Saudi, particularly the western region, to serve the increasing demand from the traveling public from the Kingdom of Bahrain and the other destinations of Bahrain Air, or for those who are visiting their families or for business furthermore, to cater for Ramadan Umrah traffic.' He added, 'We are very pleased to be able to serve the large Saudi community by way of offering cost effective and comfortable means of travel, moreover, the passengers will be able to fly from Jeddah onward to other destinations of Bahrain Air's network.
Bahrain Air will commence its weekly flights using Modern Air Bus A320 aircraft with 12 Premium Class & 150 Economy Class seats, to serve the growing businessmen demand on the route and offer additional seat capacity to Haj & Umrah year round travelling demand. The flight 2B 151/152 will depart Bahrain on Wed/Fri at 11am and arrive Jeddah at 01:50pm. It will depart Jeddah at 02:50 pm and arrives back to Bahrain at 5:20 pm. Friday flights will commence effective 1st of September, 2008 to cater for Ramadan Umrah traffic.

Bahrain Air has launched its Bahrain-Jeddah route, its 10th destination in the region, and will begin service on 26th July 2008 at 11am, the first flight arriving at King Abdul Aziz International Airport at 13:50pm, local time.

Bahrain Air was incorporated on July,2nd 2007 as a Bahraini Shareholding Company 'Closed' B.S.C (C) with a capital of ten million Bahrain Dinars (US$ 26.5 million). It is currently serving 10 destinations in the Gulf, Middle East, Levant, and Indian sub-continent. The airline is a Premium Low Price Carrier 'PLPC' with two class service, Premium and Economy.
