Dubai Central Laboratory holds customers' meet

Dubai Central Laboratory Department recently organized a meeting with the customers of its Engineering Material Section at Dubai Municipality Club.
Eng. Hawa Abdullah Bastaki, Director of Dubai Central Laboratory Department, who delivered the welcome speech, explained the vision, mission and strategic objectives of Dubai Municipality and Dubai Central Laboratory. She also explained the major activities, achievements, contributions and credibility of Dubai Central Laboratory in the region.
Eng. Ali Ahmed Elian, Head of Engineering Materials Section explained the major testing facilities and future plans of the section to give better service to the customers which will help to improve the quality of life, roads, bridges and buildings in Dubai.
Eng. Elian said, the section is planning to start, fire testing, site laboratory at different major projects, DCL Branch at Dubai Industrial City and a study will be conducted on providing testing service to metro rail project in Dubai.
At the end of the meeting Eng. Bastaki also honored some of the selected Consultants and Contractors for their prolonged service with Dubai Central Laboratory Department.
