New appliances to reduce UAE energy consumption
- United Arab Emirates: Thursday, July 24 - 2008 at 11:25
- PRESS RELEASE
On average, UAE residents use over 400 litres of water each day performing everyday domestic duties such as washing dishes, clothes and cars, flushing the toilet, showering, and watering the garden.
"The technology integrated into the latest range of Siemens appliances is good news for consumers and for the environment. The most stubborn stains including lipstick and fruit juice are no longer a problem, and the energy consumption of this machine is second to none," said Ajai Kumar Dayal, General Manager - Retail and Marketing, Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group (ESAG), distributors for Siemens, Electrolux, Fisher & Paykel, and Zanussi.
The new Siemens washing machine designed with specialist programmes for specific fabrics or soiling levels, optimises the use of energy with the best washing results.
The modern 'clever' load sensor sets the optimum combination of resources for a perfect wash, whether it's one or eight kilos, and the 'Eco' programme is ideal for hot washes with its low energy consumption.
Dishwashers have reached a new level of efficiency with the new generation using only 10 litres per load without compromising results.
The latest range of dishwashers from Siemens saves around 40% of the energy required by older models.
"Better Life is very proud of our affiliation with Siemens. The company has an international reputation for innovative household appliances that are developed with technology, design, user friendliness and environmental awareness in mind," added Dayal.
A good refrigerator should keep your food fresh and the electricity bill in check.
As refrigerators and freezers are always in use they account for approximately 20% of household electricity consumption.
The new Siemens side by side refrigerator offers 541 litres of storage space, a multi-airflow system that cools quickly, and frost free technology.
Completely free of Chlorofluorocarbons and Hydroflurocarbons, and with an energy efficiency classification A, up to 79% of energy can be saved.
Better Life has experienced consistent year-on-year growth since its inception in 2003.
Now with five stores across the UAE and Oman, and two more under construction, Better Life's unique concept of providing consumers with a specialised retail experience has become a preferred choice for those shopping for the finer things in life.
A new range of high performance, low energy consumption appliances will be available in July at Better Life, the UAE's exclusive distributor of high-quality home appliances.
