The new service notifies callers via SMS when the called parties become available after being out of reach or having their mobile phone turned off.

This announcement was made during a press conference held last Thursday and headed by Orange Mobile CEO Mrs. Majd Shweikeh, and attended by Jordan Telecom Group Vice President Mr. Francois De Loynes and Wasfi Safadi Orange Mobile Marketing Director.

"This is one of the many value-added services that Orange has launched this year, empowering our customers with extra choices and innovative products and services, and giving them the chance to get in touch with each other much more effectively and successfully,"

said Majd Shweikeh.

"By introducing "Notification of Reachability" service - which is the first in Jordan and the region - for all subscribers and for free, Orange differentiates itself as the most customer-focused and innovative mobile operator in the Kingdom," added Shweikeh.

She said that Jordan Telecom Group constantly strives to bring the latest technologies in the world of telecommunications to its customers.

While the service is currently available on optional basis, it will be enabled for all Orange customers by default. Those who wish to unsubscribe in this service can do so through sending to the USSD #130* or by logging to orangemail.jo and clicking on "missed call alert" then enabling or disabling the service in the "callers notification" section, or by calling the customer care on 1777.
