Iran's Central Bank has announced to state and private banks that lending rates wound remain at 12% until the end of the Iranian year in March, Reuters has reported. This is despite the annual inflation now running at around 26% . The International Monetary Fund has called on Tehran to tighten monetary policy to fight rising inflation.
