Bids invited for Muharraq sewage plant

HSBC, a lead consultant to the Government of Bahrain for its Muharraq sewage treatment plant, has today issued a request for qualification to bidders to build, own and operate the plant.
The bidding process is open to local and international organizations that fulfill eligibility criteria including experience of the development, ownership, operation and maintenance of one or more sewage treatment plants of similar or higher treatment capacities and complexities.
HSBC Bank Middle East has been appointed as lead consultant to the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain in relation to the project, and is supported by Fichtner GmbH and Norton Rose (Middle East) LLP.
