Emirates buys 60 new aircraft to support international growth

Emirates has purchased 60 wide-bodied aircraft to support the expansion of its international route network.

Sheikh Ahmed said
"We are forging ahead with our expansion plans and the A330-300s and A350 XWBs will enable Emirates to continue its growth using modern fuel-efficient aircraft.

We remain ambitious and every bit as determined to achieve our long-term goals."


The announcement was made during a high-profile ceremony at an Airbus facility in Hamburg to mark Emirates' receipt of its first A380 superjumbo, equipped with an onboard shower spa.
