As development projects in the UAE adopt more environmentally-friendly initiatives - including the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System - OFIS is rapidly expanding its solutions for contractors working on new, greener buildings.

The shift towards a greener environment in the UAE is seen across many construction projects, both residential and commercial. Hotels across the country are employing several sustainable initiatives with many sourcing environmentally friendly floors.

OFIS now supplies many environmental products, including Bosse, Dauphin, InterfaceFlor and Samas.

Vaneesh Malhotra, sales manager OFIS said: 'We have seen a substantial increase in interest of our environmentally-friendly products. At least 25% of our orders are based on these qualities. We can see that this is going to be an increasingly important factor in our sales, as the awareness of customers grows.'
