The company was chosen out of an international field of top Microsoft partners for delivering market-leading customer solutions built on Microsoft technology.

Awards were presented in a number of categories, with winners chosen from a pool of more than 2,000 entrants worldwide.

EMC was recognized for superior technology and innovation in Business Process and Integration Solutions.

This award is intended for system integrators, solution and service providers, and software developers that concentrate on service oriented architectures (SOA), enterprise application integration (EAI), business-to-business (B2B) application integration, business process management (BPM), and adapter development using Microsoft BizTalk Server.

EMC Global Services winning Microsoft implementation was for its work with A-dec, one of the world's largest dental equipment manufacturers, with a global network of authorized dealers and customers in more than 100 countries.

EMC consultants created a state-of-the-art Service-oriented Architecture (SOA) environment for A-dec, using the advanced integration, process management, business intelligence and dash boarding capabilities of Microsoft offerings.

The new system is helping A-dec improve quality and customer service, and increase sales. It is enabling A-dec to speed sales quote processing, automate the creation and delivery of its customized dental cabinetry line of products, and create a SOA platform for future integration initiatives. The system's enhanced operational efficiency has enabled A-dec to cut proposal processing time from days to hours.
