Publicis Groupe Media (PGM) MENA names three EVPs

As part of its ongoing commitment to ensuring leading edge operating structures and communications planning and delivery for it clients, PGM MENA has announced a number of senior promotions from its regional headquarters in Dubai.

2008 has marked continued growth and strong performance for PGM highlighted by the group's latest wins - which include the worldwide Emirates Group account, Nakheel, Samsung and Fox Movies.

Publicis Groupe Media announced three key promotions on the MENA level.

These promotions reflect the exciting and dynamic environment at PGM that developes such talent and inspires them to innovate, to seek ever-higher quality and to continually search for better solutions to clients' communications needs.

Alex Saber, who was the group's Commercial Director, has been promoted to Executive Vice President Chief Operating Officer for PGM MENA. Through the years, Saber has developed unparalleled partner relationships with the media owners based on trust and transparency, which delivers a high quality of client relationships with the company. Alex has shown total commitment to the company for many years - this promotion comes as a much merited recognition of his enormous contribution. In his new position Alex will be well positioned to steer the company through its next phase of regional operations development.

Tarek Daouk, who was Managing Director of Starcom Dubai, has been promoted to Executive Vice President Starcom MENA. Daouk has managed to develop and deliver pan regional operating structures across high profile global clients that are the envy of the industry. He has built a young, fantastic team that speaks volumes about our commitment to developing talent and quality of clients' relationships. In his new position Daouk will seek to drive the quality of StarComs strategic offering to a higher, more integrated level throughout the region.

Philip Jabbour the current Group Director of Marketing and New Business Development has been promoted to Executive Vice President Business Development PGM MENA, Global Account Director.

The reason behind the second part of his new title lies in PGM's belief that more global business will be managed out of Dubai in the future and what is happening now is only the start of this trend.

Jabbour has led an unprecedented year of success in the new business development area, culminating in the Emirates global win - amongst the companies biggest single win in its history in MENA. He will work in the areas of integration and business development to ensure PGM maintains its market leading proposition, harnessing the power, and resource of the group assets across the communication spectrum
