A national energy saving campaign launched

Prices seem to rise daily and you try hard to manage... But the fact is that the household budget has become a serious issue.

Cutting down on our electricity bill is one of our biggest challenges, but is not as hard as it seems.

Today, Procter & Gamble's leading brand Ariel, in collaboration with the National Energy Research Center in Jordan (NERC), are promoting easy tips for efficient energy saving via a national awareness campaign for energy saving.

It is helpful and inspiring to see such brands partnering-up with the government to raise the awareness on those energy issues, thus helping the public become more conscious about its consumption

This helpful initiative has come at the right time, as many commodities are affected by the skyrocketing energy prices, limiting consumer's ability to spend on even some basic necessities.

The campaign is the fruit of a hard work led Ariel and the NERC towards raising environmental awareness. And it is no wonder that both parties have come together to help fight what are now regarded as two of the world's largest and most fastest growing problems today; "Rising Prices and Energy Waste".

Not only is this campaign bringing to the public useful tips and habit changes that can be easily adopted to save on their electricity consumption; but also a new product that delivers on energy saving: Ariel cool Clean, a product that enables to wash at 30 degrees instead of higher temperatures while always delivering on superior cleaning, thus saving up to 90% of your washing machine electricity consumption.

Here are three tips that will help you save energy:

Wash your clothes at cold water & save 90% of your washing machine electricity consumption
Use light efficient bulbs and save 80% of the lighting electricity consumption
Put the air conditioning on 23 degrees and saving up to 20% of its electricity consumption

The National Energy saving campaign is currently airing on TV and is a strongly supported initiative targeting a brighter and more energy-efficient future.

This National Energy Conservation Campaign helps you save money, electricity and protect the environment with little changes in your daily habits.
