Norton Rose advises Baer Capital Partners Limited on hedge fund

Norton Rose (Middle East) LLP has advised Baer Capital on the establishment of the Beacon India Alpha Equity Fund, an open-end Mauritian domiciled investment fund which aims to invest in Indian equity and debt linked securities, derivatives and related structured products.

The Dubai office initially advised on the creation of Baer Capital Partners in 2006, and has since been mandated to advise on a number of its most significant transactions, including the establishment of Baer's first ever private equity fund, and a $150m fund raising for an investment in the Vatika Group, a leading Indian real estate developer. Baer Capital was recently voted Best Advisory Firm and Best Alternate Asset Manager (India) in the Bankers Middle East Industry Awards 2008.
