Banyan Tree Spa Al Areen continues dynamic growth

Award-winning Banyan Tree Spa Al Areen is achieving a dynamic 97% increase in the number of guests it welcomes each month.

The region's largest Spa, spanning 10,000 square metres, has become a destination in its own right with guests returning for the Asian-inspired therapies and internationally acclaimed signature treatments.

"After just over one year in operation, we have a significant following of spa goers in Bahrain who frequent the Spa on a regular basis. We have been able to meet the needs of our discerning customers with our value added spa therapies in terms of the holistic focus on spiritual, mental and physical harmony,"

said Hylton Lipkin, Director of Spa, Banyan Tree Al Areen.

"The feedback we have received from our esteemed guests not only compliments the majesty of the Spa but focuses on the quality of service and the knowledge of the spa therapists," added Lipkin.

All Banyan Tree Spa therapists undertake a rigorous training programme at Banyan Tree Spa Academy based in Phuket, Thailand and are continually updated on new techniques and treatments here in Bahrain with the support of our own in-house Academy trainer.

The pioneering Academy, a unique facility in the wellness industry, was created in 2001 with the objective of training a dedicated group of therapists extensively in all aspects that encompass spa therapy and Banyan Tree Spa service delivery. Undergoing a pre-training programme aimed at familiarising them with grooming standards, basic anatomy and physiology and product knowledge, the trainees are well acquainted with those aspects and are additionally required to undertake 480 hours of training over a period of three months.

The most sought after treatments at Banyan Tree Spa are the packages such as Royal Banyan, a signature treatment and Javanese Lulur, often described as the 'queen' of body treatments. The signature Rainmist treatments, a Banyan Tree Spa innovation combining body treatments with steam and shower experience at the treatment bed, are also popular choices.

Banyan Tree Spa's Hydrothermal Garden has received overwhelming response across the Kingdom offering guests a truly holistic spa experience with its fifteen treatment cabins (including an Ice Igloo, Pelotherapy or Mud Therapy Chamber and two signature Rainmist Corridors). The extensive hydrothermal facility enables guests to truly relax and enjoy the therapeutic qualities.
