Kuwait sets minimum wage

Kuwait has set a minimum wage of KD40 per month for companies with government contracts for cleaning and security services, Reuters reported. Cleaners will be paid a minimum of KD40, while security staff will receive a minimum of KD70. the move comes after riots by workers demanding better pay conditions.
