Travco receives Amadeus award

At an event that took place at the Fairmont Towers Heliopolis, Amadeus System hosted their annual event on the 2nd of July, 2008, and Travco Travel Company of Egypt received an award for the second year in a row by Amadeus System, for being one of the top producers in Egypt, through the sizeable amount of business generated by its 7 retail offices and 9 retail branches in Egypt, apart from the 12 international offices in the Middle East, Europe, and the Far East.

Ms. Nabila Abdallah, aviation manager Travco, received the award, and the from the Travco side, attendees included EgyptAir Reservation Manager, Mr. Mostafa Amin, Manager of the aviation branches, Mr. Abdel Moti Zanaty, and Mrs. Mona El Wahsh, who were also major contributors in the generated business.

Mr. Mostafa Amin commented:

"The Amadeus system is a user friendly system, and provides plenty of rewards and incentives for its users. It is currently used across most of the Travco offices along with other GDS systems; but as of next year, and because Travco always seeks the latest in technology, the company with all its branches will adopt the Amadeus system due to its multiple benefits and efficiency. It is an approved worldwide technology that will only provide us with a higher ranking, as per our expectations."


The awards were distributed by Mr. Ahmed Youssef, regional manager Amadeus, Ms. Jacqueline David, marketing manager Middle East, and Mr. Moody Magued, sales and marketing manager.
