Dubai Chamber staff offer gift of life

Give blood, give life was the motive behind the staff blood donation drive organized by Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry in association with the Blood Donation Center of Al Wasl Hospital at the Chamber premises on Tuesday, August 5.
Said HE Eng Hamad Mubarak Buamim, Director General of Dubai Chamber, "A regular feature at Dubai Chamber, the blood donation campaign comes as part of the Chamber's humanitarian and social responsibility under its Corporate Social Responsibility. We endevour to extend an helping hand to people in dire need of blood whether they are accident victims or patients at hospitals suffering from various diseases and in urgent need of the life-saving blood."
Buamim informed that this latest blood donation campaign, which recorded a good response, is one way of encouraging and initiating the staff members to take up social causes at their personal level. According to the Director General of Dubai Chamber this humanitarian gesture also highlights the civilized and humanitarian feature of the emirate of Dubai as he looked forward to many such awareness raising events in the future.
