DWC to implement metro system

Dubai World Central (DWC), a 140sqkm development located in Jebel Ali which will host the new Maktoum International Airport, is to have its own internal rail transport system. The system will link the residential areas of the developments with the logictics and business hubs. DWC's transport infrastructure will tie in with existing Roads and Transport Authority plans to link the project to Dubai.
