The ECSSR receives various delegations

The Emirates Center for Strategic Studies &Research (ECSSR) received academic delegations from different universities such as the U.A.E, Zayed and Abu Dhabi Universities.

The U.A.E University headed by Dr. Qais Al Tamimi and a group of students from mass communication department, went in a tour in the Center which included U.A.E federal Library, which is considered the largest specialized library in the country covering politic, social and economic issues. The delegation was briefed about the mechanisms of work in each department and the agenda of research activities of the Center.

At the end of the tour, the delegation expressed its admiration of the work and the latest technology used to monitor news and gather information, hoping for more cooperation between the Center and the University in the future.

The delegation of Zayed University was headed by Mr. Mohammed Saffara and a group of students from Present Islamic World course. They were introduced to the goals of the Center and the different activities, they also visited the Media department which includes Visual Media Monitoring Unit, where they listened to a brief explanation on methods of news monitoring and how it is send to decision makers.

In this content, Mr. Mohammed Al Ali, Head of Media Department at the Center, persisted that since its establishment, the ECSSR made sure to broaden its cooperation with various of educational institutions in the country. In an effort to support this vital sector which is considered to be a main support for the developmental plans which the country is planning to achieve.

Dr. Nabil Ibrahim, Manager of Abu Dhabi University, visited the Center and watched a presentation about the ECSSR and was briefed on the research agenda. At the end of his visit, he praised the huge role of the Center on serving the U.A.E community and the Gulf in particular and the Arab world in general through its researches, conferences, lectures, symposiums and workshops organized by the Center.

The ECSSR also received a delegation from Lebanon defense forces which toured different departments of the Center and praised the unique quality of work of each department and the holiness of its activities to present a complete vision about the development of local, regional and international status. In addition, the U.A.E Federation Library is characterized with a very unique organization and the different services delivered to researchers of various strategic fields.

On the other hand, the ECSSR received a delegation from Study and International Cooperation Department in Dubai police, headed by Dr. Sultan Abdelhamid Al Jammal, Manager of the Study & International Cooperation Department with his companions. They made a tour at the different departments of the Center and was briefed on the different mechanisms used to achieve the best quality of work of each departments using the latest technology. Dr. Al Jammal raised the issue of that there cooperation between the Center and Study & International Cooperation Department so that different views and opinions can be exchanged. He praised the pace of the Center in trying its best to serve the community, specially that of the U.A.E.
