Kuwait editors call for law change

The Kuwait NNational Assembly's educational committee has met with local editors to discuss the press and publications law, the Kuwait Times has reported. Editors will compile a report of legal articles that they would like to see altered. The committee further called on the government to support the local press and stressed on the right of journalists to obtain information from government ministries. The committee also warned the government against taking any action against journalists who also have government jobs.
