Foreign investors buy Dhs1.916bn shares on DFM last week

Value of shares bought by institutional investors reaches Dhs1.648bn during last week, and value of shares sold reached Dhs2.179bn

Dubai Financial Market announced today that the value of shares bought by foreign investors, or non-UAE nationals, during last week (03 August- 07 August) reached Dhs1.917bn comprising 37.49% of the total value of stocks traded during the period.

The value of stocks sold by foreign investors during the same period reached Dhs2.321bn comprising 45.39% of the total value of stocks traded during the period. Net foreign investment on the market reached Dhs404m during the same period, as aggregate sell.

The value of stocks bought by institutional investors during last week reached Dhs1.648bn comprising 32.23% of the total value of stocks traded during the period. The value of stocks sold by institutional investors during the period reached Dhs2.179bn which constitutes 42.61% of the total value of stocks traded during the period. Net institutional investment on the market reached Dhs530.80m during the period, as aggregate buy.
