Abu Dhabi Judicial Department deploys latest Cisco technologies

The move aims at enhancing the networking infrastructure of the Department to boost its ambitious modernisation programme by enabling quicker service and better levels of employee productivity through improved collaboration.

The new infrastructure, which will be delivered at several locations of the Department, will provide a strong, secure infrastructural foundation to cater to its rapidly growing needs and play a key role in modernizing its operations.

Senior officials from the Department have made a tour to advanced countries to share expertise and look into their fruitful experiences. We carried out a comprehensive study of the proposal before selection, deliberating on providers' expertise, proven capabilities and quality of service. We are quite confident that the solution and the accompanying service will exceed our expectations and the network will provide significant improvements in service levels,"

The Department has carried out a top-to-bottom review of its existing infrastructure in an attempt to design a customized efficient solution. By deploying the Cisco networking platform approach, the department is adopting a converged, highly secure and scalable infrastructure. The resulting converged network supports Cisco Unified Communications and all business applications and provides high levels of security through the Cisco Self-Defending Network solution.
