The Seven Zones project, named for the seven major construction related industries is intended to cater for - furniture, water works, joinery, tiles & flooring, electronics, paints & walls and lighting.
In addition there will be space allocated for Interior designers, contractors and consultants to serve the related markets.
This state-of-the-art design center is located in the highly sought-after Shuwaikh industrial area in close proximity to Kuwait City and easy access to Shuwaikh Port and the free trade zone, ensuring maximum exposure and logistical advantage for its tenants.
Shuwaikh is well known as Kuwait's largest non-oil industrial and warehousing area, and has also seen rapid growth in the retail sector since 1985.
Yousef Al Baijan, Marketing Coordinator at Al Mazaya Holding, says of the project,
"The Seven Zones is the first precinct of its kind in the area, focussed on the provision of support and materials for the contruction sector, which continues to grow across the region. The provision of such services and resources under one roof will most certainly impact positively on the area's construction sector in various respects."
With its location in this prime business location, demand is high for space in this exclusive development, and intensive screening of the brands carried by prospective tenants ensures that the Seven Zones Design Center becomes synonymous with the highest of quality.
"We are very excited about this particular project, which we aim to develop into a center that is set apart by the exclusive, top quality services and material brands offered here. Brand screening allows us to enter into agreements with the very best in the field, ensuring satisfaction not only for us, but for our prospective tenants and their clientelle as well," said Al Baijan.
Spread over an area of 22 500mē, the Seven Zones Design Center is the design brainchild of international design firm, B&A, and was inspired by the Piet Mondrian concept.
The Center is aimed at providing related markets with all the services and materials required to assist them in building their dream home or office. Currently under construction, it is expected to be completed towards the end of 2008 or in the first quarter of 2009.
